This piece was made by Stieff Pewter for the Colonial Williamsburg Foundation as a reproduction of an 18th-century antique. CW 15-31. The "31" indicates it was manufactured in 1989.
The porringer bowl had many usages, some as soup bowls, or for sauces, fruits or nuts.
Very good condition. Definitely marked up on the bottom and sides some, but clearly well taken care of.
