A very delicate corner, with a small silk underlay with hand-painted flowers. The plate is a small saucer, rimmed with 22 kt. gold by the French Saxon China Company. Production for this plate is from the 1930s-1950s and is made from semi-porcelain No chips or cracks, in incredible shape for its age. Really beautiful. The plate sits on a brass holder, and completely sets the tone. This corner is finished with this 4x4" lidded trinket box, with molded flowers on three sides and a pink flower as the lid knob. Japan. Both pieces have very intricate crazing.
